Call for Papers
Papers will be
presented orally and by poster. Both are considered of equal standing,
and no distinction is made between them in the proceedings. Authors who
prefer a poster presentation should notify the organisers. An abstract
of approximately 500 words (one A4 page) should be forwarded preferably
by e-mail no later than 15th November 2004 to:
EARSeL Secretariat

Abstracts should
begin with an introduction in which the state-of-the-art is summarised.
The main part should present the environmental questions addressed and
their context, analyse and present the methodology used and the results
obtained with reference to existing papers. The conclusions should identify
precisely the advancement made scientifically and/or potential applications.
Delegates will receive
a booklet containing abstracts of all papers when they register. For consistency,
therefore, abstracts should be typed on A4-format paper (297x210mm), on
one side only, single spacing, margins of 2,5 cm top, bottom, left and
right, title, authors(s), affiliation(s) and contact details should be
centered at the top of the page, using Times New Roman, 12 pt font if
possible.
Selection of papers will be submitted for review before publication in
the EARSeL eProceedings journal. Symposium papers accepted and presented
will be published in the proceedings if they are delivered by the deadline
given in the schedule.
